Impact of Organization Climate, Job Stress and Job Satisfaction at Swamy Vivekanand Engineering college at Bobbili, Vizianagaram District Andhra Pradesh

Abstract
Job stress and organizational climate are significant variable influencing job satisfaction after
two years of covid-19 closure of the college and when it reopened in march 2022. This study
was done to explore the job stress, organizational climate, Job satisfaction among faculty
members of Swamy Vivekanand Engineering College, Bobbili, Andhra Pradesh in the past two
months. The research examines 50 faculty members of the institution. The current study used
the job demand resource model to investigate the relationships between organisation climate,
role stress and faculty job satisfaction in private engineering college. The independent variables
were job stress and organizational climate and job satisfaction is the dependent variable. There
were number of demographic variables taken into consideration. Convenient sample technique
method is used for data collection. The questionnaire comprises of 17 questions of which 6
questions are related to organizational climate, 5 are related to job stress, and 6 are related to
job satisfaction. The analysis carried out was mean, standard deviation, graphs, frequency
charts and correlations. There was positive correlation between organizational climate and job
stress and negative correlation between job stress and job satisfaction.
