Abstract
This chapter explores the critical intersection of work–life balance and employee well-being within the context of fostering a sustainable workforce. It delves into the definition and theoretical frameworks of work–life balance, examines factors influencing it, and discusses the impact on physical health, mental well-being, job satisfaction, and motivation. Real-life examples from various industries illustrate successful strategies and best practices, while challenges such as organizational resistance, economic pressures, and individual role balancing are also addressed.
