Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Metaverse are two cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future of human experience. The convergence of these two fields has the potential to revolutionize how we interact with virtual worlds and could have a significant impact on various industries. In this chapter, we explore the current state of AI and Metaverse technology and delve into the potential future implications of their integration. The beginning of the chapter provides a thorough introduction to both AI and Metaverse technology, discussing their history, current capabilities, and future potential. Later, we discuss the current use of AI within Metaverse applications, such as virtual assistants, chatbots, and automated avatars. We also explore the potential for AI to enhance user experience and immersion within virtual worlds, through applications such as natural language processing, emotion recognition, and personalized content generation. Lastly, exploring the ethical considerations and potential risks associated with the use of AI in Metaverse environments. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.
